To enroll your child in a Head Start program, your child must be four years old or at least three years old by December 1. And at least one of the following eligibility guidelines must be met:

• Family meets federal low-income guidelines. You may be eligible if you are receiving some form of public assistance
• Child has a diagnosed disability and meets the age guideline
• Child is in foster care

There is no charge for the home-based and half-day programs.
